We are recruiting the following position for our client
Senior Analysts / Integration Designers -- (Contract) Montreal #313. This short-term contract will run until the end of October 2011, with possibility of extension
Role Description
Serves as a subject matter expert on content, processes, and procedures associated with integration of enterprise applications. Apply functional knowledge to the design and customization of workflow and integration scenarios. Write functional and technical design documents.
Knowledge Areas
- SOA concepts, WSDL, SOAP, XML, Web Services standards
- Messaging concepts: MQ, JMS, Pub-sub
- Modeling concepts: UML, BPEL
- IBM Integration Designer: Tools: WID, WPS, WESB, Datapower, Mainframe integration experience an asset
- SAP PI Integration Designer: Tools: SAP PI Modeler, SAP GDT
- Process Knowledge: Banking processes (CRM, Retail Origination, Commercial Origination, Servicing, Product Life Cycle & Static Content)
Key activities are:
- Extends the conceptual design of the overall integration solution by developing the process, data, and application integration components into a functional design.
- Designs the implementation of each process to be automated within a business process management (BPM) tool - (BPM an asset)
- Designs the flow and sequencing of events within the integration solution across applications.
- Identifies commonalities in the interfaces across systems and application components.
- Understands that this role performs more detailed technical analysis than the integration or application architects.
- Liaises with data architects for data mapping and transformations.
Descriptions
Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into proper systems requirement specifications. Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
