Technical Supervisor (Lachine)

Fresenius Medical Care Canada, a world leading organization in the manufacturing of dialysis equipment, requires a full-time Technical Supervisor in Montreal, Canada. Reporting to the National Service Manager, the position entails the following responsibilities:
• Create and maintain Technical ISO procedures and ensure all Technologists are working in accordance to these procedures i.e. ensure monthly meter verification checks are being performed
• Plan and schedule all equipment installations for evaluations and purchases that directly or indirectly affect the Montreal office work load
• Plan and schedule all service calls that directly or indirectly affect the Montreal office work load
• Ensure that all equipment supported under contract by the FMCC Montreal Technologists are up to date
• Create and maintain Technical After Hours On-Call Schedule
• Ensure that all responses to customers are dealt with in a professional, timely manner and are within the company/manufacturer's specifications/guidelines
• Provide technical phone support as well as hands on service on an as needed basis; maintenance and customer relations/meetings
• Assume On-Call responsibilities
• Perform other duties as required
Experience, Skills, Educational Requirements:
• This position requires some travel (40%) within Quebec with the potential for out of province travel.
• 2-3 year diploma or degree in either Electronics or Biomedical electronics
• Must be fully bilingual (must be able to read, write and speak French fluently)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Management/Supervisory role
• Experience in the healthcare industry is essential
• Must possess strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Access
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are also a requirement.
• Dialysis experience an asset
