Our client is a Montreal based services company located downtown and is currently growing at a rapid pace. They are seeking a System Administrator who possesses a positive and professional attitude to assist with the growth and development of the Information Technology infrastructure. This candidate must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the installation of equipment
• Provide instructions and explanations to teams with regards to network or server issues
• Ensure settings are correct
• Contribute to the documentation of network processes
• Carry out installation of servers in cabinets
• Ensure connections are recorded
• Set up networks and environment for software testing purposes
• Create web pages with links to the server
• Follow internal troubleshooting procedures
• Enquire on prices of equipment as necessary
• Carry out additional tasks upon request

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of ClearCase, VersionOne, Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, HP EVA Storage, Cisco Switch, HP MDS Switch, Active Directory, SAN storage, Backups, and TCP/IP Routing protocol
