Class 5 Driver - 4 day work weeks - Up to 16$/hr after training (H1H 2Z1)

Company located in Montreal-North (H1H 2Z1) looking to a position for a class 5 delivery/collection driver.
Your job will consist of visiting customers around the greater Montreal Area and picking up products (about 20kg – other liquid products are pumped with a vacuum pump). The truck is an 18’ F550 flatbed truck. You will also have to unload the truck at the end of your shift.
- THIS JOB WILL SOMETIMES REQUIRE YOU TO GET YOUR WORK CLOTHES AND HANDS DIRTY *** You have to bring your own clothes for work (they can be old). Uniforms will be supplied after permanent status.
- You will receive a list of stops for the day
- You will need to load necessary materials/equipment onto the truck for the route
- Maintain truck/pickup logs as required by Provincial and Federal regulations
- Listen and resolve customer complaints and notify manager of any issues
- Perform small roadside emergency repairs such as, but not limited to: replacing spark plugs/fuses, controlling oil spills and basic trouble shooting of small engines (that power the equipment)
- Stay a little bit longer, if required on certain days to complete route
ESSENTIAL: – PUNCTUAL & DEPENDABLE IS A MUST – CANNOT MISS YOUR SCHEDULED SHIFTS. – Knowledge of Greater Montreal +good orientation – Good physical condition – 25yrs and older + & over 2 yrs experience as a delivery driver. – Class 5 drivers license in good standing – Able to manoeuvre in tight downtown alleys and traffic packed roads
IMPORTANT: – Basic knowledge TOM-TOM or similar GPS – Plumbing systems knowledge is a big plus – Spoken English and/or French
PAY:
Working shifts are Night or Day (4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift)
Base Salary Training (3-4 days) – 9.50$/HR
First 6 months – 12$/HR
Months 7,8,9 – 13$/HR + Optional Group Health Insurance Package
Months 10,11,12 – 14$/HR + Optional Group Health Insurance Package
And so on… performance dependent
Bonus per Shift: $40 if all stops are completed and a minimum quantity of product is collected
(This comes out to 16$/hour right after your training)
