We are presently seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to work in our Montreal office. Our company successful produces two of the largest cancer fundraising events in Montreal – The Ride to Conquer Cancer and Weekend to End Women’s Cancers. Including Montreal, we produce over 12 other similar events across Canada, Australia and the United States, to learn more about these events please visit www.conquercancer.ca and www.endcancer.ca.

Position Description:

• Assist with comprehensive marketing and public relations plans;
• Assist with media relations, social media and help manage internal communications;
• Handle media for large charity events, along with participating & attending events in Montreal, Quebec and potentially other Canadian cities;
• Communicate effectively with all staff; and
• Be expected to take on additional projects to support the success of our various events.

Requirements:

• **Bilingual in French and English is required;
• College degree in marketing or related field preferred but not required;
• Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Very strong organizational skills required;
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at a time;
• Experience with copy writing is a plus;
• Be personable with a “can-do” attitude;
• Reliable and a self starter as this position is remotely managed; and
• Travel is required, especially during the summer months — must have a valid passport or ability to obtain.
