Employment Counsellor

Agence Ometz is looking for an Employment Counselor to provide employment counselling, job placement, on-the-job training to candidates with special needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to generate appropriate job leads for the client
• Participate in outreach, including presentations to community institutions to best market the program
• Incumbent must have strong organizational skills for client record maintenance, government applications and reports
• Collaborative team approach but must have the ability to manage own caseload to provide best client service

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum education: relevant DEC or Bachelor degree
• Some experience w/clientele w/disabilities required
• Bilingual English and French (written & spoken)
• Car a must

POSTE – TEMPS PLEIN (début : 1er août 2009)
Conseiller en emploi

L’agence Ometz est à la recherche d’un Conseiller en emploi dont la tâche est de donner des conseils en emploi, de trouver un emploi et de former des candidats qui ont des besoins spéciaux.

RESPONSABILITÉS

• Habileté à fournir des emplois appropriés au client
• Participer aux événements de sensibilisation, incluant des présentations visant à promouvoir le programme.
• Doit avoir le sens de l’organisation : suivi du dossier du client, demandes auprès des gouvernements et rapports
• Habileté à travailler en équipe tout en ayant la facilité de gérer ses propres dossiers

EXIGENCES

• Minimum : DEC approprié, ou degré Bac
• Expérience nécessaire avec la clientèle handicapée
• Bilingue : anglais et français (écrit et parlé)
• Doit posséder une voiture
