full time Internet Coordinator/ECommerce (Montreal)

Position Summary:

The Internet coordinator will respond to customer questions routinely. The job will require frequent contact with customers who are in the buying process. The person will have also to interface with our Internet provider on a daily basis. The person will have to interface with CMO, Marketing, Special Order and Credit Department on a regular basis to make requests or to follow-up special project or regular processes. The person will have to work with both Clients on a daily basis and develop knowledge on both American and Canadian Online Jewellery & Gifts Markets.

Order coordination, follow-up with clients, distribution centre and customer care for all orders (3 hours a day)
Maintain and update product assortment on all The Clients websites, by writing technical description, indexing and adding picture for each single UPC. (15 hours a week for point 2 and 3 for 40 to 60 products)
Validate Inventory availability of product for the web.
Answer product related questions and support web clients in collaboration merchants (from 10 to 20 questions a day = 1 to 2 hours a day)
Request for transfer e-commerce web orders in collaboration with Special Order, Credit Department, Distribution Centre, Demand Coordinator and Customer Care (2 hours a day)
Maintain and update general information on websites in collaboration with Graphic Designers and the Internet Manager (10 hours a month).
Surveillance of the web performance and availability on a daily basis (.20 hours a day).
Web Campaign coordination and newsletter campaigns execution. (5 hours a week)

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and maintain UPC for the manufacture.
Write product technical description for the Web
Index product with metatag attribute such as ornament, category, style, occasion, type of product
Check product picture, and send it for retouching or re-crop, or ask for a new picture to be taken, before loading it on the web.
Reply to customer questions through the web

Support Newsletter program by providing list of products for each campaign, get visual from the Marketing Advertising Team, and validate product description related to the newsletter.

Prepare web newsletter contents and integration by the web provider.

Support and follow-up e-commerce orders fulfillment on a daily basis, doing the request for transfers from store for product not in the web inventory. Release order when product is available, solve issue with product availability and work in collaboration with Credit department, Special Order, customer care, Distribution Centre and Merchandising.


Education, Skills and Related Experiences

4 years college or like work experience

4 years of Internet experience in development, launch and maintenance of website

Luxury market knowledge or back-ground

Experience in client service

Excellent communication skills: oral & written

Experience in retail, multi-channel desirable

Excel (Good knowledge)

Word (Good knowledge)

Typing speed (minimum 50 words / minute)
