Communication Manager (West-Island )

Our client is a leading global beauty and fashion firm, who markets its product worldwide, is currently looking for a communication manager. Responsibilities are the following.
Work with colleagues to develop strategic communication plans for Associate & Field audiences (Representatives, DSMs, DVMs) to describe the benefits, changes and guidelines related to the new SMT model.
Manage Canada communications workstream from initial stakeholder meetings and concept development through writing, review, revision, production, distribution and evaluation.
Develop project plans and timelines, document project budgets, select appropriate media and craft key messages.
Develop a broad range of communication materials targeting specific audiences using multiple communication channels, including: print, multi-media, social networks and web, manage the review process and finalize all material for release.
Work with designers to develop graphic identities and approaches, and select and manage relationships with outside vendors for design, production and distribution needs and on-line communications.
Prepare regular communication updates on the project progress for internal stakeholders.
Brief other communication staff on how the new Sales model will impact Associates and Representatives day to day, in order to integrate new language and advice into regular communication material.
Develop the content for the transition to eCommerce Representative website
Participate in meetings & training opportunities in order to assess communication needs and enhance overall understanding of the Business.
Required Skills:
• Bachelors Degree in communication
• At least 6 years of related work experience in Business or Technology Communications
• Project management and work plan development experience
• Solid understanding of website technology and on-line commerce
• Perfectly bilingual ( French and English)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters degree in Communications, Human Resources or related field
• Strong creative writing, editing, strategic planning, project management, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Experience with or exposure to strategic change management and change communication strategies and assignments
• Ability to work within a team environment demonstrating both leadership and participant skills
• Solid understanding of on-line, print and video communication channels
