Position profile
As Accounting Administrator in the Montreal office, your primary role will be to undertake all accounts receivable functions during a maternity leave replacement.

Though advanced accounting skills are not mandatory in this position, you should have strong administration and bookkeeping skills.
Key responsibilities
- Budgeting, tracking expenses, implementing invoicing and processing revenues for corporate and residential relocations;
- Ensuring that project-related documentation is verified, accurate, signed and forwarded;
- Following up on outstanding invoices and managing incoming payments;
- Ensuring the timely and consistent processing of advances, commission payments and brokerage fees to drivers & brokers;
- Performing general accounting tasks;
- Responding to client inquires regarding invoices and vendor/service provider inquires regarding payables;
- Regularly coordinating and communicating with all departments and roles;
- Generating summaries and reports as needed;
- Applying sensitivity, confidentiality and attention-to-detail in all tasks.
Qualifications

- A personable, effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well with diverse personalities, including clients, vendors and colleagues in all departments (National Accounting, Operations, Sales, drivers, etc.);
- Someone who enjoys and adapts well to days and weeks that are "not the same old routine" (each project and file is different);
- A proactive person who can effectively prioritize tasks, solve problems, work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, fun, family-oriented work environment;
- Confident and tactful enough to comfortably and effectively follow-up on outstanding payments and manage vendors;
- A team player who is equally effective working in groups or autonomously with little supervision;
- Capable of maintaining a high level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality in the preparation and management of financial information.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and French (oral and written);
- Previous bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable experience;
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office;
- Strong skills in organization, administration, bookkeeping and prioritization;
- Strong communicator with an outgoing personality;
- Any experience in the moving/relocation industry is a definite asset.
