Our client is a global Engineering firm that has been in business for over 100 years and more than 8000 employees around the world. They are currently looking for an HR Assistant to joins their HR department.
The HR Assistant is responsible for providing a full range of Human Resources administrative support. The successful candidate has an expertise with administrative practices.
Responsibilities:
• Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
• Assisting with employee relations;
• Company-wide committee facilitation and participation;
• Company employee communication;
• Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping;
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting; and
• Employee services;
• Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system;
• Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
• Orders internal office supplies
• Responsible for daily incoming and outgoing mail and inter-office mail.
• Answer department telephones
• Ability to perform a variety of duties of moderate complexity.
Requirements:
- Minimum College Diploma in a Human Resources or related discipline
- At least 3 years experience in an administrative role
- Must be bilingual ( French / English )
-Experience in Human Resources as an asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail/accuracy
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills -- MS Office
