Job Description:
Reporting to the QA Team Lead and Business Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for determining testing requirements as well as reviewing, writing and executing test cases. This person will also be responsible for analyzing requirements and specifications, determining the most efficient approach for structured testing, synthesizing, documenting (all documentation is to be kept to internal documentation standards) and explaining test results. Day to day tasks will also involve checking the accuracy of test cases, developing detailed testing scenarios, execute manual test cases, manage defects through SDLC, participate in regression, system, integration and UAT.
Requirements:
This role requires the Quality Analyst to have 5 years or over experience within a testing or QA role. Proven testing experience within the Health industry or Medicaid system and experience with Rational and Mercury applications is a must. This person will have documentation skills , excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure, exceptional organizational skills as well as a thorough knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies. A fantastic attention to detail and a great ability to work well in a team is also needed to be successful in this role. .
