StockerYale Canada Inc., a rapidly growing company specializing in optics and lasers, is seeking enthusiastic candidates for the following position:
GLASS POLISHER (OPTICS)
Permanent Position
Description
• Polish, cut and calibrate different types of glass for production and R&D
• Provide support to optic workshop (preparation, handling and follow-up of orders)
• All other related tasks
Requirements :
• High School Diploma
• Experience in glass polishing an asset (eyewear or stained-glass…)
• Experience in handling and assembling lenses, an asset
• Good dexterity
• The person has to be in a good physical condition (the glass polishing is done standing up)
• Autonomous and responsible
We train the selected candidate and also offer a long term career in this field. Also, we favour manual dexterity and the sense of responsibility in our recruitment process.
Location : Dollard-des-Ormeaux
Work Schedule : 7am to 3:30pm (32 to 40 hours per week)
