MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING PLANNER
Our client a leader in the Aerospace industry in Canada with over 30 years of experience in Business are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineering Planners to join their dynamic and growing team, this role is located in Winnipeg.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Contribute to the efficient manufacture, repair and overhaul of new and existing components through the timely creation and maintenance of product definitions with on-line Bill of Material database giving due regard to economic manufacture, material and subcontract content.
·Contribute to the efficient manufacture, repair and overhaul of new and existing components through the timely creation and maintenance of shop order routings within on-line routing database giving due regard to estimated shop hours and customer quality and schedule requirements.
·Contribute to the efficient manufacture, repair and overhaul of new and existing components through the timely preparation of tool design requests. Approval of tool drawings, preparation of tool designs and issuance of tool orders all with due regard to estimated budget constraints.
·Contribute to efforts made in securing new business through the analysis of drawings and specifications during the evaluation and estimating phases of customer tenders providing suitable details for inclusion in final submissions as applicable.
Qualifications:
·Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology with 2-5 years experience in the field.
Compensation:
