Workshop Facilitator (Montreal)

The Tolerance Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate young people and
adults on the negative impact of discrimination in all its forms. We are currently looking for workshop
facilitators for The Tolerance Caravan, which offers a unique opportunity to interactively explore the social
consequences of prejudice and discrimination by encouraging a critical look at values, beliefs, attitudes,
and behaviour.
The selected candidate will:
- Co-facilitate interactive workshops for high schools students on prejudice, discrimination, human
rights and genocide.
- Carry out research and write comprehensive reports.
- Coordinate logistics of workshops in schools.
- Cooperate in the various projects of The Tolerance Foundation.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or university education in social sciences or related field of study.
• Experience in leading workshops and facilitating group discussion with multicultural youth ages
12-18.
• Professionalism, sense of responsibility and flexibility in terms of schedule and organization of
work.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Mastery of English, fluency in French.
• Driver’s license required.
Nous cherchons aussi des animateurs francophones.
Full-time (35h/week), contractual position from September to June. Possibility of renewal. Salary: 14$/
hour for two months, $16/hour following probation.
