Job Description
Our client is one of Canada’s most successful Combat System Integrator specializing in large sophisticated integration projects.
? We are seeking candidates with exceptional technical skills to become part of clients group of exceptional professionals. As part of our client’s team, the candidates will:
? Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
? Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
? Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
? Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities
These are fun-time positions to handle surge/peak workloads on the Command and Control System (CCS) team in Montreal.
Perform software architecture tasks in support of the Command and Control System (CCS) requirements analysis and design. Specific duties include the following:
• Analyze requirements for the CCS
• Software architecture and design using CASE tool Rhapsody
• Develop Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) using UML and Rhapsody
• Conduct peer reviews and produce design documentation.
• Software coding, unit test and integration
• Provide support to the Test and Integration Team.
Areas of CCS functionality include
• Threat Evaluation and Weapon Assignment (TEWA)
• Data Fusion
• Weapon and Sensor Interfaces
• Human Machine Interface (HMI)
• Track Management
• Mission Planning
• Doctrine Management
• Data Collection
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with minimum 3-5 years of professional experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Recent software programming in C++, Java on Linux environment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience in Naval Command Control Systems
• Experience in requirements management and DOORS
• Experience in UML, Rhapsody, Rational Rose or other modeling tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
