Senior GUI Developer (Montreal)

As a senior developer working for our client, you will work at the forefront of the latest web technologies, developing Rich Internet Applications (RIAs). You will also participate in the entire process of creating a software application, from design through release. If you are looking for a challenging opportunity to utilize a broad range of development skills, this could be for you.
The position involves all aspects of software development activities including:
- Coming up to speed on the latest RIA development platforms and environments
- Guiding a small team of developers and following up on their work on a daily basis
- Actively communicating with other developers and product marketing
- Participate in the design of software architecture and components
- Design, code and document computer programs, conforming to specifications.
- Deliver implementations to specification in a timely fashion
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge and experience with client-side technologies such as: Java or WinForms or WPF or Flex
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor's Level degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in either English or French
- 8+ years experience in software development.
Desirable Experience:
- 2 years of development experience with Flex
- Experience leading a team of developers
