Description
Our client a leading telecommunication company is currently seeking an intermediate to senior level Database Developer/Analyst to join their implementation dept.
Job Description
Participate in the programming and maintenance of information systems related to project management.
Analyze user requirements to bring improvements to the existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain current database. Analyze functionality and bring continuous improvements.
• Support Project Managers and input required changes in the Databases.
• Initiate all required changes to Databases/Systems in order to improve the integration of the Project Management Process.
• Receive user requirements and analyze impacts on the existing Database/Systems.
• Issue all necessary documentation.
• Programming; mostly in VBA because current applications are build with MS Access & Excel.
• Analyze current systems functionality and implement improvements.
• Data entry.
• Related tasks.
Qualifications
• French and English communication ability.
• Collegiate degree.
• 5 years minimum experience in VBA, VB (.NET or 6) programming.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Access and MS Office.
• 3 years minimum experience in programming and analyzing database.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server an asset.
• Demonstrate high initiative sense and autonomy.
