* ASME Code Quality Manager * (Dorval)

Candiate must have experience and extensive knowledge with the ASME (Association of Mechanical Engineering) , experience with Audits and Quality Manuals to apply for this position.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position in an ASME code shop
• Experience to include managing personnel
• Undergraduate degree or engineering degree is an asset but equivalent experience is acceptable
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and conversational French
• Extensive welding knowledge
• Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
• Must have experience in fabrication of pressure vessels or boilers, any HVAC experience would be an asset
• Very effective organizational skills
• Knowledge of ASME audit procedures/requirements and experience with creating and implementing a quality manual
• Must demonstrate a positive work ethic and be results oriented
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Quality Assurance Department including the Q C personnel (Employee development, training, performance reviews,etc)
• Prepare, issue and implement company quality assurance program manual in compliance with company, Code and jurisdictional requirements
• Preparation for yearend ASME audit
• Work closely with agencies, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments on quality related matters including performance activities such as audits, program setup, program planning, etc
• Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality personnel; includes personnel administration, resolution of QC issues, development/approval of in house training
• Ensure company standards and the QC system as detailed in the QC manual are applied.
• Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance
