Systems Analyst/Consultant Required (Ville.St.Laurent)

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visit all client locations regularly collect, document and update all their requirements. Create and customizes forms or reports as per customer needs.
Program software for checking inventory, orders placed, customer feed back and complaints for internal use.
Create program to show any pending and placed orders and keep track of payments received against delivered orders.
Determine both technical and business goals in consultation with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals.
Develop policies and procedures for system access, usage and for the backup and recovery of data and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Specifies which users can access computer systems and what data can be accessed by them.
Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with any software programs.
Trains staff to use programs.
Monitors performance of programs after implementation.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fluent in English and Urdu languages both speaking and written, since it is very important to be able to report and discuss regularly with both company directors who are located in Montreal and Overseas.
Prepare in advance for internal and as necessary external meetings. Also contribute ideas and demonstrate respect for opinions of others.
Design business procedures and recommend solutions for simplifying the existing procedures and making them more cost effective.
Nature of the business is round the clock so availability 24/7 on call is a must.
Display willingness to work with others and assist with projects and initiatives as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Demonstrate customer-oriented communication skills responding to management and team correspondence promptly and within agreed upon timeframes, cooperating with requests and utilizing appropriate method of communication based on urgency and type of information being communicated.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate must be a university graduate.
He/She should possess a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience.
Strong knowledge of Power Point, Access and Excel software, good knowledge of SQL an asset.
Fluent in English and Urdu (writing, speaking).
Great interest for reporting in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
On call availability.
Strong analytical capabilities and capacity to make recommendations.
Ability to adapt information to various audiences.
Should have prior experience of working as a systems / business analyst for 2 years.
