Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Technical Writer is responsible for writing, editing, and revising installation manuals, on-line help, user guides, technical brochures, instruction sheets, diverse presentations, and other user-oriented documentation.
Requirements:
• Excellent English writing skills
• Background in English studies or technology, or relevant experience (an asset)
• Ability to work with one or more of the following software: FrameMaker, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, CorelDraw, and Robohelp (an asset)
• Can take initiative and detail-oriented
• Strong ability to work within a team
• Communicate in French
• Strong knowledge of electronics and its terminology or experience in the security and access control industry would be an asset
