Research Assistant- (Economics) (Montreal)

Our client is a dynamic member in capital markets worldwide. They have developed the most innovative and promising technologies which have contributed to their ongoing success. They are currently looking for a Research Assistant, which will be an addition to the Market Intelligence Team.
You will be relied upon to assist in the preparation of several market research reports by collecting, processing and analyzing data.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze statistical data and organize into report format
• Devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, compiled from multiple sources
• Prepare concise tables and graphic illustrations of findings
• Update and maintain several databases and spreadsheets
Requirements:
• University Degree with a major in Economics;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS applications
• Posses a keen interest in learning about world economies.
Personal Skills and Abilities Required:
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with fluency in the English language
• Ability to prioritize and respond to quick decisions by applying them to strict deadlines
