Global Medical Services (GMS) is a healthcare consulting group providing emergency preparedness services to corporations and government agencies since 1998.
GMS has an immediate need for a Quebec licensed physician to assist with our Corporate Antiviral Program in the Montreal and Gatineau areas. This program involves assessing the eligibility of select corporate employees for antivirals. GMS has developed a comprehensive program to assist the physician in this role including educational materials, screening forms and consents. This work would involve 8 – 10 half days scheduled in late September or October 2009.
Requirements:
• Experienced Physician licensed in the province of Quebec
• Fully Bilingual (English/French)
• Superior communication skills with demonstrated educational teaching experience
• Knowledge of H1N1 Influenza and/or travel medicine
• Flexible Schedule.
Roles & Responsibility of Physician:
• Review the patient’s health history and contraindications to Tamiflu or Relenza
• Prescribe Medication, if indicated.
Compensation: $ 175 CDN per hour
