Technician - Network Monitoring (Montreal)

S3 Technologies Inc. is a Montreal firm specializing in the implementation and maintenance of IT networks and is looking to hire an internal network monitoring technician for his Montreal offices. His primary tasks will include monitoring networks and servers, verify backups, and repair computer workstations. The candidate will know Windows XP/Vista and Windows Server 2003 as well as being experienced in the assembling and repairing of PCs. Bilingual, the ideal candidate will be able to provide remote technical assistance covering a wide range of Windows software applications.
Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of:
o Windows 2000/XP/Vista
• Knowledge of:
o Windows 2003/2008 servers
o MS Exchange
o Firewall and VPN configuration
• Bilingual
• Dynamic personality, self-motivated and independent
• Professional appearance
• Mastery of Linux/Unix, Mac, and Novell a definite plus
• Possess a valid Quebec driving license
