Freight Forwarder (Downtown-Montreal)
at Human Resources in Montreal
Experienced Freight Forwarder (preferably licenced) is required immediately. Must have general knowledge of Air and Ocean Freight forwarding.
Must have a minimum 3 years experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry. Strong knowledge of Customs, Air, Ocean freight movement documentations processes. Must have strong knowledge of shipments to and from Asia, N. America, South America, and Europe. Strong sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a MUST.
Responsiblities will include;
- sourcing out new prospects, keeping in touch with existing customers to increase Sales;
- booking of equipment (air,ocean, over the road, intermodal) and follow through with updates of transport to clients;
- conduct market rates, negotiate pricing and provide service availabilities to customers;
Our company is located downtown in the Old Port of Montreal (McGill Avenue). We have been established since 1989 and constantly growing with other offices in Mexico and Florida.
We are looking for career oriented, dedicated, and passionate candidates to fill the available employment positions. Salary will be determined based on experience or knowledge.
