We are currently seeking a talented, resourceful, self-motivated candidate to join our team as a Credit Manager. Reporting our Senior Credit Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Credit analysis on new and revision accounts (investigations, credit solvency report, etc);
• Oversees collections and credit, approval of credit limits and terms;
• Daily interaction with the Sales Department & Customer Service;
• Building relationships with customers (internally and externally);
• Daily collection calls and follow-ups;
• Daily release of orders;
• Investigate claims and resolve issues for retail accounts;
• Reconcile, identify problems, follow up on rejected claims and collections of charge backs & disputed items;
• Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts;
• Submission and analysis of various reports.
Requirements
? 5-8 years relevant work experience in Credit Department as a Credit Analyst or Credit Manager;
? Previous work experience in retail, wholesale or distribution an asset;
? Knowledge of conditional sales contracts and lease financing an asset;
? Excellent time management skills, sense of organization and ability to set priorities;
? Proven ability to negotiate, make sound decisions, and solve problems;
? Ability to read and analyze basic information as well as financial information & statements;
? Strong communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills;
? Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as autonomously;
? Demonstrated computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office applications, familiarity with JDE system (an asset);
? Bilingual (English/French).
