Intermediate Financial Analyst
Our Client is a renowned company that serves more than 5 million Canadians. Their customers include employees, associations, affinity groups and creditors in virtually every industry in Canada.
Primary Responsibilities;
• Develop and maintain standard financial models and practices.
• Develop, validate and maintain effective controls by creating reports in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access.
• Develop and maintain database applications in Access 2003.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and develop one-off reports using MS Access and Excel.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to increase team efficiencies and internal controls by using appropriate applications.
• Validate, improve and document business processes.
• Develop and deliver technical support and training to GB Finance team members and other stakeholders.
Requirements;
• University degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related area of study.
• 2-3 years relevant experience, preferably in the Finance sector.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Access skills including VBA programming.
• Advanced financial data modeling experience.
• Analytical and critical thinking, ability and desire to learn and resolve business and technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and pro-actively to complete multiple projects and assignments.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, bilingualism required (English & French).
