Dakis gathers and standardizes manufacturers’ product information and knowledge in Dakis’ smart electronic catalogue in order to power retailers’ eCommerce websites, in-store kiosks and wireless devices (PDA) and thus, provide consumers with complete product information at all points of contact to ultimately assist them in selecting the right product for their needs.
If you have a passion for consumer electronic products, the retail landscape and eCommerce, and would like to be the one powering the Dakis Product Catalogue to assist consumers in selecting the right product for their needs, then we want to hear from you. It takes good judgement, attention to detail and responsibility to accomplish this task. It is very rewarding since your work is used directly by hundreds of retailers and influences millions of shoppers in stores and online every month.
The Product Analyst is responsible for:
· Identifying the various products offered by manufacturers,
· To gather and standardize the product data and specifications in Dakis’ Product Information eCatalogue,
· To define technical product attributes,
· To define the rules for proactive related accessory suggestions (automated smart cross-selling).
The analyst’s data and knowledge is used to power the Dakis Product Information eCatalogue used by hundreds of retailers.
Do you have what it takes?
As a Product Analyst for the consumer electronic market, you do need to have a good judgement, to be meticulous and detailed oriented. Also:
Required aptitudes
· Good analysis ability
· Focussed and able to follow-through
· Career oriented (long term position)
Required competences
· Excellent research skills and ability to find information through Internet and other sources
· Bilingual (fluently written and spoken)
· Effective writing skills (English and French)
· Ability to work independently in a team setting
· Ability to work in a Microsoft Windows environment
Required personality
· Avid reader
· Curious and enjoys new subject matter
Required job experience
No specific professional work experience required. Strong emphasis will be placed on applicant’s aptitudes, competences and personality.
