Be it developing innovative multi-media advertising (TV/RAdio/Web/Corporate) to forward thinking television series, to contentious documentaries to original web content, I am known as a determined ‘creative producer’ in pursuit of new ideas and excellence. As an executive producer, I bring a lot to the table, offering well-written ideas, development skills and structured production management and excellent International contacts.
I am highly capable of taking any project from conception to final delivery. In fact once I have the creative content or business plan in place I have a flair for nailing meetings with network heads, seeking funding from blue chip sponsors or just getting the project rolling on time and on budget.
I have always been one to take ‘calculated’ risks, by utilizing new talent and brief my production teams in a clear, concise manner.
I am driven but diplomatic, fun but hardworking and don’t mind getting my hands dirty either.
My co-workers know me as a fair and confident leader guiding projects with wit, verve & determination.
Having held roles as executive producer/director (television), agency producer (advertising) and acted as line producer (TV commercials, cinema, web), I offer a wealth of international knowledge and experience to any prospective employer. As a seasoned broadcast producer I have produced numerous international ad campaigns for clients such as Telus, Bell, Barclays Bank, McDonalds, Labatt, Grolsh, Koodo, Canadian Government, Guess Jeans and Greenpeace. Past contracts has taken me around the world producing both mini me projects to million dollar commercial shoots in Chile, Miami, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Madrid, LA, New York, London & Cape Town. Therefore I offer excellent production resources & contacts in all of these cities. I am also adept at negotiating ‘star’ talent and drawing up the required contracts. My background in post production, visual effects, animation, cgi and motion graphics is extensive since I have contracted and worked alongside many international talent’s such as Ridley Scott Associates, The Mill, Alexandre Petrof, Pixar, Curious Pictures and Industrial Light & Magic - to name a few.
In the last five years I have written and developed a number of television series and web content projects on sexual issues, eco reality series, feature docs, comedic travel and sponsored long format web dramedy. I have attended both Banff and Reelscreen and thus comfortable attending media festivals pitching projects to networks such as Canwest, Bravo, CTV, CBC, Oxygen, Slice, Women’s Network, Nat Geo, Channel 4, Sky, BBC & Oxygen.
Ideally I am looking for opportunities on an executive level developing and producing innovative projects in the worlds of advertising, television and web/mobile entertainment.
