Green Consciousness is looking for you. Love diversity in your work (design in many different formats of print and web)? Obsessed with graphic design? Have a love of beauty and all that is cool? We are a small team who put together a very stylish annual guide and book of rebates that promote local, green, ethical and otherwise health focused businesses and organizations in the surrounding area.
The ideal person is someone who:
1. can create the third edition of the guide within InDesign.
2. can design publicity: flyers, posters, publicity within the guide, web banners, etc.
3. can design the third edition of the guide, comfortably adding new design components and use the previous.
4. is a creative out-of-the-box thinker for publicity campaigns and other general fun stuff.
5. is comfortable with Macs.
6. is fluent in either English or French but must understand both to a reasonable degree.
7. enjoys teamwork.
8. is well organized.
9. is interested in this project. Ecological issues, fair trade, well being through lifestyle, nutrition, supporting the local economy, local arts, etc., etc.
Specific Requirements
1. Experience designing and bringing a colour book to press (meaning a book that has design and images - not simply a black and white novel).
2. Infography (filling out the text within the guide - whether automated or manual)
3. Comprehensive Knowledge of: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator a minimum.
4. Portfolio & Resume (C.V.) to show.
