Contremaître(esse) / Foreman

Notre client du domaine alimentaire est à la recherche d’un(e) contremaître(esse) expérimenté(e) pour son équipe de Montréal-Est.

Ce qu’il vous faut pour décrocher ce poste :
- Une forte personnalité et un bon caractère avec la capacité de donner l’exemple
- De l’expérience dans des milieux syndiqués et non syndiqués
- La capacité de travailler dans un environnement à rythme pressé en constant mouvement
- De l’expérience en supervision de personnel
- De l’expérience dans le domaine des mets et denrées périssables
- De l’expérience en vérification de denrées alimentaires
- Une facilité de gérer plusieurs tâches l’aise dans un environnement difficile
- Une attention particulière aux besoins de la clientèle interne (vous devrez travailler avec le service commercial)
Vous devez être disponible pour un horaire de 3 h à 16 h (une grande partie de l’expédition de marchandises est effectuée de 3 h à 6 h du matin) ainsi que les fins de semaine pour toutes urgences ou vérifications ponctuelles d’efficience.

Our client in the food industry is looking for an experienced Foreman to join its East End team.

What you need to land the job:
- Strong personality and character with the ability to set the example
- Experience in unionized or non unionized environments
- Ability to handle a high pace and high rotation environment
- Experience in personnel management
- Experience with perishables or food items
- Experience with Food Inspection or quality standards
- At ease in a tough environment, with multiple tasks
- Sense of internal customer service (will work with the Commercial department)
You must be available to work from 3 am to 4 pm (a huge part of the shipping is done from 3 am to 6 am) and during the weekend for emergencies or random efficiency spot checks.
