Senior R&D Technician to join the Hardware Development team. The candidate will participate in all t

Reporting to the VP of engineering with dotted line to the CEO, the QA Representative will define the best in class processes and methodology governing the company operation. The QA Representative will propose innovative measures to increase efficiency, will define inter-team interfaces and corresponding SLA, will define measurement points and corresponding metrics and will create measures for attaining and maintaining a high quality standard of all internal and external deliverables.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Create and maintain Quality Manual (QM).
• QA representative to external partners and customers.
• Define, document and maintain the inter-group and intra-group processes/methods/templates governing the internal operation.
• Create an electronic library for all documentations.
• Define, with the help of different teams involved, the quality metrics at different stages of the product life cycle.
• Define the “exit” criteria for all product releases.
• Help create a continuous improvement culture.
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance related to product development.
• Knowledge of best practices and methodologies applying to software-based high technology companies.
• Knowledge & familiarity with the following processes: SCM, CRM, defect tracking, RMA, ERP, Customer support, Documentation Control.
• Familiarity with the latest framework environment and tool suite used during the development cycle.
• Experience in web-based tools in a Quality Assurance Environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
