The Company:
Superclick Networks, Inc. develops markets and supports the Superclick Internet Management System (SIMS) in the worldwide hospitality market. Superclick provides hotels with internet access and IP-based service utilizing high-speed wired and wireless technologies. Superclick deploys, installs and project manages its SIMS™ products and provisions customer support through its call center located in Montreal.
The Job:
Due to recent growth, we are looking for a NOC Engineer who is highly motivated, technical and is an excellent trouble shooter. Applying our state-of-the-art application, you will remotely fix and resolve network issues globally. You will mentor the level 1 and 2 agents, provide guidance when needed, but will also monitor systems, give meticulous attention to detail, provide proactive service and assist the deployment engineers. From time to time, you will be given the opportunity to deploy the Superclick solution. This will give you the opportunity to travel but more importantly, experience firsthand the product, system and infrastructure that you otherwise support.
The Profile:
The successful candidate will be a non-smoker, possess excellent trouble shooting skills, excellent English written and oral communication skills, will be professional, autonomous but must be able to work in a team environment, is organized and a self starter.
Technical Requirements
? HP Procurve
? Thorough understanding of networking technologies, routing protocols, network management and concepts.
? Utilities including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, LAN/WAN, Dial-up Networking, routers, switches and VPN.
? OSI Reference Model. 802.11 Technology including access points and antennas.
? F5 SSL administration.
? Paradyne DSLAM infrastructure.
? 3COM Baseline 2400 series.
? Cisco 2600, 2800, and 2600 series routers.
? Cisco Aironet devices 1100-1500 series.
Professional Experience:
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience of:
? Wireless testing and record measurements.
? Network Design from security through to QoS, VLAN
? Install and configure Cisco Catalyst 2900 and 3550 series switches.
? Design IP address scheme relevant to size of network. .
? Terminate and test CAT5 and LMR cabling throughout the site.
? Install, configure and test Access Points, Cisco routers, DSL modems, etc.
Certifications:
Not necessarily all required
? CWNA, CCDA, CCNP, CQS
? Network+: CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional
? Security+: CompTIA Security+ Certified Professional
