Taimma is currently looking for Flash animators (three positions) to develop animations for the eLearning and medical industry. A good knowledge of Actionscript is an asset but not a requirement. The candidates we are looking for should also be tenured graphic artists, more specifically have a great expertise in vector illustrations and a deep knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.

Primary Job Function:
• Create/Develop medical and non-medical animations in Flash • Integrate and assemble animations with the images, characters, sounds, and page layouts based on our clients needs • Work with the Lead Graphic Artist and other Graphic Artists on the overall “look” of the animations and/or multimedia products to ensure that it is maintained throughout the various project pages/animations • Collaborate with the developers to ensure that all multimedia content corresponds to the project’s specifications and client’s requirements • If you have a good knowledge of Actionscript, you will also be asked to assemble and integrate games, interface components, and quizzes in different applications and eLearning courses • Assist in carrying out various duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
• Formal training/studies in multimedia, animation, or in a related discipline • 3 to 5 year of experience in Flash animation and vector illustration • Mastery of Flash 8.0+ (animation) • Mastery of Adobe Illustrator (with a good portfolio to prove it) • Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop • Great creativity and detail oriented • Leadership and team oriented skills • Good knowledge of office tools such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Bilingual (functional)
Assets:
• Knowledge of Actionscript, XML, CSS, & JavaScript • Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM, AICC, and Learning Management Systems • Good ability to document
