About TXT-TV
TXT-TV is the next level of television programming, where the medium is truly the message. While other TV shows incorporate the use of text messaging, with TXT-TV, texting is the programming. On TXT-TV, viewers create the shows via text messages from their cell phones. They interact with each other and watch others interact with each other. Like Karaoke, the participants are both the performers and the audience. The end result is wild, unpredictable¡Kand never, ever the same.
Position Summary
As a TXT TV Moderator, you have a flair for entertainment, pop culture and/or sports trivia and an interest in TV media. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging people in conversations about a wide and diverse range of topics and issues.
Your job is to ultimately offer a valued, entertaining and engaging service to our customers, encouraging and initiating message exchanges between as many customers as possible, while ensuring a clean and respectful environment for all.
Responsibilities
„X Become familiar with the TXT-TV tools. Training required before program launch
„X Approve/reject SMS messages through the moderator tools, verifying unsuitable content (filter incoming profanity/hate messages)
„X Act as a conversation enhancer
„X Send messages to the audience with the objective of generating SMS activity from them
„X Engage in SMS conversation with participating viewers through engaging them in discussions; the moderator tools output SMS messages to the television
„X Keep informed and current on entertainment, pop culture and/or sports topics
„X Devise and implement creative ways to generate a maximum number of responses
„X Comply with guidelines provided for program
Requirements
„X Must be creative and have the ability to think on the fly
„X Must be familiar with text messaging and text talk (text slang)
„X Must have a flexible schedule as overnight shifts will be required; shifts are 6 hours long (8pm to 2am) weekdays and 7 hours (9pm to 4am) Friday & Saturday
„X Must be able to work as a team
„X Must be committed
„X Must be punctual
