Network Manager (Montreal)

S3 technologies Inc. is a Montreal firm specializing in the implementation and maintenance of IT networks and is looking for his next Network Manager to manage our customer’s networks in the Montreal area. We are searching for a candidate with experience in migrating and configuring Windows domains, Windows and Exchange servers, as well as the configuration of Cisco network equipment. The candidate will be able to provide level II support to our on-the-road technicians. The candidate’s daily tasks will include, but not be restricted to, the planning of hardware and software updates, resolving complex technical problems for our customers, the actual network maintenance, and interface with our customer’s suppliers in providing technical support.
The work is primarily conducted in our downtown Montreal head office with occasional trips to our customer’s location. The candidate would ideally possess a valid and legal driver’s license, a car, and would be willing to travel.
Requirements:
• Perfectly bilingual (absolute must)
• 3 to 5 years experience in IT (in a similar capacity)
• Diploma in IT or related field
• Microsoft certification (MCSA or MSCE recommended)
• Extensive knowledge of:
o Windows 2003/2008 servers, Windows 2000/XP/Vista
o MS Exchange
o Firewall and VPN configuration
• Dynamic personality, self-motivated and independent
• Professional appearance
• Mastery of Linux/Unix, Mac, and Novell a definite plus
