IML is currently seeking ELECTRIC POWER LINEMAN for our Lower Mainland client.
SALARY: $70,000-$80,000 per year
DUTIES:
• Understand and meet the security, regulation, and the quality criteria
• Repair and maintain: electrical distribution lines on poles, towers and structures, circuits, street lights, conductors, related wiring, and transformers in accordance to specifications and standards
• Install and maintain: switchgear, underground electrical distribution lines and cables, and revenue meters
• Maintain service and repair records
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Certificate (provincial or a recognized interprovincial equivalent)
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience with substation electrical power distribution, underground electrical distribution lines and cables, towers and structures
• Good communication skills required including professional manner in working effectively as a team member and dealing with customers
