Primary Job Function:
• Conducts web based and desktop application development in Flex
• Programs applications using Flex components, forms and other types of Flex objects
• Assembles and integrates games, interface components, and quizzes in different applications and eLearning courses
• Programs the usage of dynamic XML content into application interfaces
• Defines, implements and reuses eLearning template standards
• Communicates with technical staff at client businesses, when required
• Plans and organizes the project and related deadlines with the other members of the production team
Qualifications:
• Formal training/studies in Computer Sciences or in a related discipline
• 5 year of experience in web/multimedia development
• Mastery of Flex 2.0/3.0
• Strong knowledge of Actionscript 3.0, XML, CSS, & JavaScript
• Object oriented design and modeling
• Team oriented as well as autonomous
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Leadership skills
• Bilingual
Assets:
• Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM, AICC, and Learning Management Systems
• Knowledge of AJAX, PHP, MYSQL, & Apache
• E-commerce application development experience
• Good ability to document
• Structured development environment process
• RAD Techniques (Rapid Development)
• Source control software
