JOB DESCRIPTION
Concordia STUDENTS ONLY for a specially funded position
- Be available from August 29 2011to June 2012
- Supporting and supervising children in homework
- Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and adapt activities for your chosen group of children between 5-12 years old.
- Overall supervision and ensuring the physical well-being of all children.
- Maintain and promote cleanliness within the building.
- Be familiar with and follow Dawson Community Centers policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- DEC in Special Care Counseling/Social Work/ Community Recreation leadership or equivalent experience.
- Experience in specialized program areas: Sports, Drama, Music, and Arts is an asset
- Intervention experience is an asset.
- Experience working in a team setting, strong organizational and activity planning skills an asset
- Bilingualism is a MUST : English/French
- First Aid certificate an asset
