POP Montreal is hiring!
We're looking to add a Program Coordinator/Copy Editor to our team to help us put together this year's program!
The candidate will work with our staff, bio writers, graphic designer and layout team to compile all the necessary pieces for our program. They will also be copy-editing (in either French or English) and helping us sell the ad space in our program.
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: August 26, 2011
Wage: $11/hour
Hours: Full-time
Requirements:
- Strong command of either French or English (bilingualism is preferred) and the ability to copy edit. Copy editing testing will be administered
- Experience in journalism, copy editing or translation
- Experience working with and leading a team or group
- Sense of humor and patience
- Ability to work long hours, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast paced high stress environment
- Candidate MUST be extremely organized
- This is a grant funded position, therefore the candidate must have an address outside of Quebec, have a working knowledge of both French and English, be between the ages of 18 and 35 and be going back to school full-time in the fall.
