School & Youth Campaign Assistant: Tele-recruiter position

LLSC Mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Program Overview: School & Youth is a program in which students of all ages are able to make change in the fight against cancer! Students learn about service, leadership, and philanthropy, and the power that spare change can produce.

Job Description
Seeking an energetic individual to join our School & Youth recruitment team! Someone who is passionate and would like to make a difference in the fight against blood cancer; by recruiting Quebec and Atlantic Canada schools to participate in the LLSC School & Youth program. The LLSC seeks a P/T tele-recruiter to work 20 hrs a week. A clear, concise speaking voice, strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent telephone skills are required. Help kids learn they can make a difference!
Job Requirements:
- Confident voice
- ‘Can do’ Attitude
- Organized and detail orientated
- Ability to multi-task
- Driven by goals
- Proficient in Microsoft office and excel
- Team player
- Fluently bilingual (French and English)
- Experience in sales
- Experience working in non-profit organization is an asset
- Experience in outbound telephone sales an asset
- Able to work early mornings and/or afternoons (weekdays only)
Responsibilities include:
- Recruit 6-10 schools a week
- Contact and recruit prospective past and new schools
- Build relationships with contacts over the phone
- Maintain knowledge of School & Youth program and the LLSC
- Track, return, and follow up with calls
- Enter information into database
- Other duties as assigned
