JOB DESCRIPTION
Concordia STUDENTS ONLY for a specially funded position
- Be available from August 2011to June 2012 ***(2 week replacement for day camp.) – Supporting and supervising children in homework – Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and adapt activities for your chosen group of children between 5-12 years old. – Overall supervision and ensuring the physical well-being of all children. – Maintain and promote cleanliness within the building. – Be familiar with and follow Dawson Community Centers policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- DEC in Special Care Counseling/Social Work/ Community Recreation leadership or equivalent experience. – Experience in specialized program areas: Sports, Drama, Music, and Arts is an asset – Intervention experience is an asset. – Experience working in a team setting, strong organizational and activity planning skills an asset – Bilingualism is a MUST : English/French – First Aid certificate an asset
