Senior Infrastructure Analyst - Bermuda - 5.25% tax!
On behalf of our Bermuda-based client, we are seeking a qualified candidate to join their team in this subtropical, low-tax Island environment. The successful candidate will become a member of a small I.T. team within a financial services environment and will therefore enjoy the opportunity to contribute in a number of areas. This role will involve a mix of day-to-day support/network administration and project-related tasks working closely with management and vendors as required.
This position will be well suited to a professional with a broad technical background and at least 5 years of relevant experience supporting a complex information technology environment, preferably within the financial services industry.
We are seeking as much as possible of the following in a preferred candidate:
Qualifications:
•Current certifications in Microsoft (MCITP Server / MCSE 2003) and VMWare (VCP) is required
•Additional industry certifications such as Citrix (CCA), Cisco (CCNA) and Check Point (CCSA) would be an asset
•At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting a complex network of servers and networking equipment
•Computer Science or Engineering degree or similar technical training/qualifications
•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Technical experience:
•Experience building and maintaining Windows 2008 and MS-SQL server environments including clustering technology
•A solid understanding and current practical experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Practical experience installing and configuring Blade Servers
•Working knowledge of SAN technology
•Experience administering Check Point Firewalls, Internet load-balancing appliances and IDS/IPS devices
