Short film (fiction): non-proffessional actors needed for payed roles (Montréal)

Film searches for actors and extras from different ethnic origins and background! No experience needed! Actors will be payed (100$-250$)
- Hossein: Man, Iranian, actor, age 25-35. Fluent in Persian.
- Nazanin: Woman, Iranian, actress, age 25-35. Fluent in Persian.
- François: Man, Caucasian, worker, age 45-60. (spoken English or French).
- Mrs Velaquez: Woman, Latino, retired, age 60-75. Speaks Spanish and English and/or French.
- Yolisha: Girl, Black, singer, age 12-17. Likes to sing. (spoken English or French).

SYNOPSIS:
Through its immeasurable leaps that sequentially enter and exit particular moments into the lives of unrelated characters, acrobat presents itself as a series of standalone yet unifying vignettes. The vulnerability of individuals who desperately desire to be noticed and crave for genuine human connection are exposed as odd and intimate scenes of voyeuristic fantasy, impersonating intangibility, romantic longing, and liberating daydreams collide with the fixations and the consequences from the pursuit of convenient communication and popular culture.
NOTE:
No acting experience necessary but rather looking for individuals who are enthusiastic in truthfully expressing themselves, have something artistic to share and want to experience something new.
All interested candidates will go through an interview and a videotaped audition. The chosen candidate will go through a few rehearsals and one day shooting in late October 2011. This will be a paid creative collaboration. The finished film will be 40 min. long and will show in film festivals internationally. Please contact us for more information! Much thanks!
