Duties and Responsibility

PR Strategies — Manage Public Relations Campaign, use upper level critical thinking to apply valuable ideas, contributions; showcase “bigger thinking” for overall positioning for the client; strategically developing alignments and angles that position, target and reach end-users to that PR campaigns and efforts translate into results.
Write Numerous Press releases / material — These include pitches, releases, backgrounders, advisories etc. that shape stories, reflect news value, positioning.
Media Relations— Forming strong media relationship, pitching media and securing coverage on behalf of client. Print Television, Radio, and Online.
Must be Proficient in online blogging.
Speaking Engagements — Forming strong relationships internationally in the trade show circuit & booking engagements
Research — Fully immerse into the client and its category by researching trend topics, themes, deadlines, issues, opportunities, etc.,, as well as with community and industry events and happenings.
Cross- marketing— Developing leads for alignments, partnerships, events, etc for client positioning in media.
Social Media- Must FULLY understand social media, blogging, and basic optimization of press hits.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 Years of experiences in the public relations industry. Can be agency or client side experience. If you do not have this background you will not be considered for the position.
Must be able to speak English, French and/or Spanish. Non-French or Spanish speakers may be considered depending on their level of experiences.
Must be able to write at a 4th year University Level
Must have 5 reference as follows: 2 prior work experience referrals, 2 editorial contract referrals that you have worked with during the last six months and 1 personal referral
Solid relationship and contacts with writers and editors / a list of editorial outlets that you worked with is mandatory and proof of these will be required.
Excellent writing and communicating skills
Bachelor’s degree should be professional, be a people person/ good communicator, and energetic.
Must be assertive and highly motivated and enjoy being an integral member of a team. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a diverse project load, attention to detail and excellent communications skills are essential. Additionally, the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude is must.
