We’re looking for a Drupal developer to work with us, part time, out of our office.

The position is a flexible 1-3 days a week, depending on the deadline and state of the project (8-24 hours a week for up to 3 months) @ $35-55/hour depending on experience.

The functions of the position would be: – Audit an existing Drupal codebase/install – Identify areas of improvement/issues – Make recommendations on improvements – Combine recommendations with some of our own project requirements and our own internal audit (just completed) – Implement changes, updates and build new modules as required

Skills: – Fluent/proficient with Drupal 6 & 7 both programming and theming (using already designed layouts/graphics) – A good knowledge of PHP and Javascript (XHTML & CSS as well of course!) – Decent knowledge of SQL and SQL Queries – Good communication skills – A desire to challenge yourself and learn new things – Bilingual

You would be provided with a workstation in a platform of your choice (OS X, Linux, Windows 7) and any other tools you may require.

We are not an adult services company – we work primarily in the public sector.

Transforming PSD designs into HTML for email delivery
Integrating the HTML code into a custom email delivery system
Image optimization and upload via FTP
Testing Emails using various spam checking tools

Maintaining mailer integrity by ensuring there are no spelling mistakes, misrepresentation of a product and respecting the mailing delivery schedule as set by the Team Lead

Qualifications:

Ability to work both independently and as a team player with confidence, energy, and professionalism (Required)
Post Secondary Education in Computer Science, Web Programming or Equivalent Technical Certificate (Required)
